Dara Kubovy-Weiss

Director

Dara Kubovy-Weiss has over two decades of experience in digital production, content development, and branding. As one of the first employees at Time Inc. New Media in the mid-1990s, Dara was responsible for creating the original websites for such properties as People magazine and Elektra Records. For several years, she led the team that produced all Warner Bros. movie websites, including the famously still-extant Space Jam site.

Dara later served as the executive producer of AOL Moviefone and subsequently produced syndicated original editorial content for such brands as Alpo, Bounty, diet Coke, Bridgestone, and American Express. She has created original digital entertainment programming for Time Warner, AOL, and Comedy Central, and produced websites for numerous small businesses and non-profits.

Today, Dara brings her wealth of diverse experience to Clarity’s roster of professional services clients, including many of the world’s largest and most respected law firms.

In addition to her work in digital media, Dara is also a published author (her memoir The Heavy was published by Random House in 2013, and she has written for Vogue, Elle, and Details magazines) and has worked as a producer on television shows for The Food Network and National Geographic.

Dara holds a B.A. in English from Columbia, and lives in Manhattan with her husband, with whom she has two college-aged children. She serves as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate for children and youth in New York City foster care.
